Amarone

One of the most famous DOCG wines of the Veneto region, Amaronne della Valpolicella is produced using the Appassimento method from Corvina and Rondinella grape varieties.  Our Zironda Amarone is a deeply savory wine with excellent aging potential.

Soil

Clayey and calcareous soil

Tasting notes

The drying of grapes prior to fermentation contributes the deep crimson color expressing warm red fruits, plum and black cherry with baking spices. The palate is firm and generous with velvety texture and spiced fruit cake nuances.

Food pairings

To be enjoyed with game and seasoned cheese, it also pairs exceptionally well with Beef Stroganoff, Beef Bourguignon and Beef Wellington!
ZiRonda embodies the essence of Valpolicella, not only with wines of great quality, but also natural beauty and culture, the link between man and nature. A genuine and convivial land where a great culinary tradition has developed, accompanied by intense, full-bodied and structured wines. To complete the picture there are varied landscapes, from the lake to the hills, with the typical Palladian Villas, some of which have become UNESCO heritage sites. A sunset on the lake, a good typical dish and a glass of Zì Ronda: a perfect set to know and love not only a culture, but also its wines.
